1940年任合眾影片公司學(xué)員，在《香妃》、《賽金花》等影片中扮演重要角色。后進(jìn)春明、民華、華成等影片公司演員。1942年后任中聯(lián)、華影演員，主演《四姐妹》、《三朵花》、《草木皆兵》等影片。1946年赴香港，在《苦戀》、《玫瑰玫瑰我愛(ài)你》、《少奶奶的秘密》等影片中扮演重要角色。
